Barreto Family Portraits

What a joy it was to capture the portraits for this special family...we go way back!  Michelle used to work at my parents restaurant back in the day while she studied at Texas State...back when it was SWT.  Once she graduated, she set of to teach at an international school in Brazil - where she met Odilton.  Their family is just precious with a set of twins to keep things rather interesting.  Thank you Barreto family.  Love y'all!  Hope you enjoy :)

(This one is a personal favorite - daughters loving their Daddy!)

Beach Ball Fun in December

It has been a while since I edited portraits of my own children.  It the intention of practicing for a shoot this past December, I got my own kiddos out to be my subjects.  Elaina picked up the beach ball that didn't get properly put away when summer was over (imagine that), and we had a grand old time.  Here are my two babes simply wearing what they had worn all day, not muss & no fuss.  Elaina is 2 1/2 & Luke is 5 1/2.

My little girl and her long eyelashes.

 Iron Man

The succession of the following shots is classic Elaina! Love her!

Silly faces and feathers in pockets - that is a 5 year old boy for you.

Pohl Family Portrait Sneak Peak

I have had the pleasure of getting to know this family this year through my daughter's Mother's Day Out program.  Miss S and Elaina are in the same two-year-old class and have become fast friends.  I had such a great time capturing their family enjoying one another (hopefully the camera wasn't too stressful) and an absolutely beautiful afternoon (after having to reschedule a couple times due to bad weather).  Hope you enjoy Jeanette :)

Rachel & Kalleigh's Newborn Sneak Peak

What a wonderful morning I had with these two beauties!  Three counting Rachel's mom, Lana Joy - a woman as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, & four counting TJ who amiably moved furniture from one room to the other without a hint of frustration that we were turning his house upside down.  Kalleigh was the most exceptional subject anyone could ever hope for being 12 days old.  No getting any sleeping baby shots here.  She wanted the world to know she is wide-awake & ready to take it on.  Watch out world :)  Kalleigh Mae is here...and we are overjoyed she is!
